Lieutenant Governor Interacts with Indian Chamber of Commerce Members in Srinagar
**Srinagar, Aug 24:** Lieutenant Governor today held an interaction with the members of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Srinagar and lauded their contribution towards promoting trade, commerce, and industry in Jammu & Kashmir.
Addressing the gathering, the Lt Governor said India, being one of the oldest civilizations, stands on the foundation of compassion, brotherhood, and cultural heritage, which has made the nation’s economy resilient and powerful.
He highlighted that the ICC members’ meeting in Srinagar will provide a significant platform for networking and collaboration among local businesses. The decision to host this event in Srinagar, he added, is a strong reaffirmation that no terrorist force can subdue the spirit of India.
The Lt Governor further emphasized that the presence of the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Srinagar sends out a strong message against the enemies of the nation and will encourage industries in Jammu & Kashmir to strive for higher growth and greater achievements.
