University of Ladakh students to attend National NSS RDC Camp-2025 at New Delhi.
Two students, Stanzin Namgyal (B.P.Ed 3rd Semester, Leh Campus) and Kunzes Wangmo (BSc 3rd Semester, EJM College Leh), have been selected to represent the University of Ladakh at the National NSS Republic Day Camp 2025 in New Delhi, scheduled from 1st to 31st, January 2025. This month-long camp is known for fostering leadership, communication skills, teamwork, and patriotism among participants, contributing to their holistic development. Their selection is based on outstanding performance at the North Zone NSS Pre-Republic Day Parade Camp 2024, held at Vivekanand Global University, Jaipur, from 14th to 23rd October, 2024.
Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor University of Ladakh, Prof. S.K. Mehta, congratulated the students and conveyed his best wishes for their success at the camp. Dr. Jigmat Dachen, Dean Students Welfare, University of Ladakh, who coordinates NSS activities for the University, accompanied the students to Leh Airport. He also extended his warm wishes and encouragement to Stanzin Namgyal and Kunzes Wangmo as they departed for New Delhi by air on 31st December, 2024.
