Special Brain Science Workshop on “Ek Bharat – Shreshtha Bharat” Successfully Organised at DIET Leh on 16th June 2026 Leh, Ladakh:
A Special Brain Science Workshop was successfully organised at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh by Nav Chetna Swabhiman Charitable Foundation in collaboration with Kalika Brain Science Academy. The programme was conducted under the inspiring theme “Ek Bharat – Shreshtha Bharat”, commemorating the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and celebrating 150 Years of Vande Mataram.
The event was graced by Mr. Zakir Hussain Samrah, Joint Director, School Education Department, UT Ladakh, as the Chief Guest. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from distinguished dignitaries, educational leaders, principals, teachers, parents, and more than 250 students from various schools across the region. The programme commenced with a warm and inspiring Welcome Address by Ms. Tsering Yangdol, Head of Department, DIET Leh who highlighted the significance of educational innovation, national integration, and the holistic development of learners. She welcomed the distinguished guests, participants, and students and emphasized the importance of empowering young minds through knowledge and scientific learning.
The programme was further enriched by the presence of Shri Jagannath K. Swain, Director, Nav Chetna Swabhiman Charitable Foundation, who attended as the Guest of Honour. He played a pivotal role in conceptualising, guiding, and coordinating the event. During the programme, he delivered an insightful presentation on the theme “Ek Bharat – Shreshtha Bharat”, highlighting the importance of national unity, cultural harmony, constitutional values, and the spirit of “Unity in Diversity” that defines India. He encouraged students to embrace the rich cultural heritage of the nation and contribute meaningfully to nationbuilding. His inspiring address and visionary leadership were highly appreciated by the audience.
A major highlight of the event was the interactive Brain Science Workshop conducted by Dr. Sunil Rajput (H.C.), Brain Science & Mnemonics Expert, Founder & CEO, Kalika Brain Science Academy, who attended as the Special Guest. Through practical demonstrations and engaging activities, he introduced participants to advanced memory techniques, concentration enhancement methods, scientific learning strategies, and brain development concepts designed to improve academic performance and lifelong learning.
In his special address, Chief Guest Mr. Zakir Hussain Samrah appreciated the efforts of the organisers for bringing innovative educational initiatives to Ladakh. He encouraged students to cultivate scientific thinking, discipline, and a spirit of lifelong learning while upholding the values of unity, integrity, and national integration. The event also featured vibrant cultural performances presented by students in accordance with the theme “Ek Bharat – Shreshtha Bharat.”
The performances beautifully showcased India’s rich cultural diversity, heritage, patriotism, and the message of unity in diversity, earning appreciation from all present. Certificates of Participation were awarded to students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Leh, Government Middle School Spituk and Government Middle School Gompa for their active participation and enthusiastic involvement in the workshop and associated activities. A Special Certificate of Appreciation was presented to Ms. Sonam Diskit, Teacher, Government High School Matho, in recognition of her inspiring speech on the theme “Ek Bharat – Shreshtha Bharat”. The programme was efficiently and gracefully anchored by Ms. Chetna Sharma, whose engaging presentation ensured the smooth conduct of the event and kept the audience connected throughout the proceedings.
