Ravinder Raina Inaugurates Langar Sewa at Tawi River Front for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Pilgrims

Jammu : Marking the commencement of its annual service for devotees undertaking the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, former Jammu and Kashmir BJP president Ravinder Raina on Monday inaugurated the Langar Sewa at the Tawi River Front in Jammu.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of office bearers of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Welfare Society, prominent citizens, volunteers and a large number of devotees. Raina was welcomed by Raj Kumar Goyal and Parvinder Singh Happy, who expressed gratitude to the chief guest for encouraging the society’s humanitarian initiative and extending support to its efforts aimed at ensuring the comfort and well-being of pilgrims.
Addressing the gathering, Raina lauded the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Welfare Society for its selfless service and appreciated the dedication and commitment of its volunteers. He said such initiatives reflect the true spirit of sewa and uphold Jammu’s long-standing tradition of hospitality towards devotees visiting the holy Amarnath Cave Shrine.
He emphasized that voluntary organisations play a crucial role in complementing the efforts of the administration by providing essential facilities and support services to pilgrims during the annual pilgrimage. Raina also appreciated the society for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and quality in the food being served.
The office bearers of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Welfare Society informed that the Langar will serve fresh, hygienic and nutritious meals to thousands of pilgrims throughout the duration of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra. In addition to providing meals, volunteers will offer all possible assistance to ensure that devotees have a welcoming, comfortable and spiritually enriching experience during their stay in Jammu.
Among those present on the occasion were Raj Kumar Goyal, Parvinder Singh Happy, National General Secretary Vikram Shridhar, National Secretary Manthan Goyal, Vinod Shastri, Vikas Gupta, Rattan Singh, Daljit Singh, Vinay Verma and Ayush Sharma, along with other members of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Welfare Society, volunteers and devotees.
The programme concluded with prayers for the safe, peaceful and successful conduct of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra and for the health, happiness and well-being of all pilgrims undertaking the sacred pilgrimage.
