Press Release Health Department of Nyoma Conducts Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) Camp at Hanle

Nyoma, March 28, 2025: The Health Department of Nyoma successfully conducted a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) camp at Hanle village on March 27, 2025, providing essential healthcare services to the local community. The initiative, supervised by the Block Medical Officer (BMO) Nyoma, aimed to bring medical assistance to remote and underserved areas, ensuring timely and quality healthcare for residents.

During the camp, the following services were provided:

– General OPD: 50 patients

– Dental OPD: 26 patients, including 10 extractions and 5 restorations

– Amchi OPD: 48 patients

– NCD Screening: 50 patients

– TB Screening: 10 patients

The MMU camp was a significant step towards ensuring accessible healthcare services for the local community in Hanle village.
