DC Leh @santoshsukhadeve convenes meeting on Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakaram
Leh, December 10, 2024: Deputy Commissioner Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, convened a meeting to discuss the utilization of funds released under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakaram today on December 10. The meeting, held at the VC Room, DC Office, Leh, was attended by various officials, including the Chief Planning Officer, Superintending Engineer PW(R&B) Department and Executive Engineers from different divisions.
During the meeting, officers briefed the Deputy Commissioner on ongoing projects under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakaram, as well as pending works and the amount to be surrendered.
DC Leh Santosh Sukhadeve directed the officers to complete the pending works and surrender the remaining amount by December 13. Additionally, he instructed the officers to identify the status of sanctioned projects that require tendering. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the tender process must be completed online by winter, ensuring that work can commence early during the next working season.
