Mission Indus Clean-Up (Singe Tsangspo Tsande Lasgul) 2025 Conducted at Diskit Sub-Division
Nubra, 12 August 2025: The Singe Tsangspo Tsande Lasgul (Mission Indus Clean-Up) programme was successfully organised at the Diskit Sub-Division today on 12 August.
The programme was led by SDM Diskit, Mukul Beniwal, IAS, who led all participants comprising staff from various departments, students of Government Higher Secondary School Diskit and villagers of Diskit, in taking a solemn cleanliness pledge to uphold the mission’s objectives.
He highlighted the importance of cleanliness, urged everyone to continue supporting the mission, and stressed the need to maintain hygiene along the Shayok River. He also emphasised the significance of such drives for the well-being of the community and the protection of the environment.
Staff from different departments, students of Govt. Higher Secondary School Diskit and villagers actively participated, making it a united effort towards a cleaner and healthier environment.
