The programme started by playing the NALSA theme song. Welcome address was presented by Mrs. Phuntsog Angmo, Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Leh where she threw light on the importance of the day with special reference to Legal Services under NALSA Act and also spoke about the newly opened Legal Aid Clinic at Chuchot. She also encouraged people to take advantage of the same. The Worthy Chairman DLSA Leh Mr. Manoj Parihar spoke about the importance of the day with special reference to the historical background of coming into existence of Legal Services Authorities Act and also encouraged the Panel Lawyers and Para Legal Volunteers to perform their duties with full dedication and with the aim to provide Legal help to the downtrodden and marginalized.

Mr Attauallah Naib Tehsildar Chuchot spoke about the various issues faced by people in revenue matters and encouraged them to avail Legal Aid for resolving their disputes. Mr. Mansoor Hussain Nambardar Chuchot Shamma also spoke on the occasion and thanked District Legal Services Authority Leh for organising the programme at Chuchot.

Similar programme was also organized at Tehsil Legal Services Committees of Nobra and Khaltsi.
