District Hub for Empowerment of Women Organizes Awareness Program on Women’s Health
leh, May 17 2025: District Hub for Empowerment of Women in Leh organized an awareness program on women’s health at Phyang Community Hall on May 17. The event brought together local women, teachers, and students from Phyang High School, highlighting the importance of women’s health and well-being.
Shri Tundup , Honorable Councillor of Phyang constituency, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Dr. Nordan Odzer, a renowned expert, delivered a comprehensive lecture on key aspects of women’s health, including:
– Cervical cancer awareness
– Breast cancer awareness
– Menstrual health and hygiene
– Breast self-examination techniques for early detection of breast cancer
