District Administration Leh Concludes Public Outreach Camp under “Mimang-Si-s-Jabstogs” Initiative at Chilling Sumda
Leh, November 25, 2025:
The District Administration Leh today successfully concluded the final leg of the “Mimang-Si-s-Jabstogs” (Administration at Your Doorstep) initiative with a comprehensive public outreach camp held at the Sumda Dho Community Hall. The outreach programme focused on ensuring that villagers living in remote and scattered villages receive timely access to essential government services and welfare schemes.
Goba Sh. Tsering Dawa warmly welcomed the Nodal Officer and departmental teams with traditional khataks, expressing gratitude for the Administration’s continued efforts to bring services closer to the people of the region.
Addressing the gathering, Nodal Officer Ms. Deachen Chondol, JKAS (OSD to Deputy Commissioner), highlighted that the “Mimang-Si-s-Jabstogs” initiative reflects the Administration’s strong commitment to strengthening last-mile delivery. She stressed the importance of such camps in bridging service gaps caused by geographical barriers and encouraged villagers to participate actively and avail the benefits of various government schemes.
Departments including Health, Agriculture, FCS&CA, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture, Rural Development, Power, ICDS, JK Bank, and others briefed the public about ongoing schemes and subsidies. The camp provided on-spot services, grievance redressal, and awareness sessions, enabling villagers to directly interact with officials and receive immediate assistance.
Villagers submitted applications and grievances to the Nodal Officer, who assured them that their concerns would be forwarded to the appropriate authorities for timely redressal.
