Block Medical Officer, Khaltse Organised a Medical Mobile Unit Camp at Kanji Village.
Khaltse, January 15, 2025: A Medical Mobile Unit (MMU) camp was successfully organised by the Block Medical Officer (BMO) Khaltse, Dr. Shamim Ahmad, at Kanji village today, January 15, 2025. The camp provided a wide range of medical services, including pediatric, gynecological, dental, laboratory, adolescent counseling, and Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) services.
A total of 150 patients attended the camp, with 42 pediatric patients, 52 adult patients, 30 laboratory tests conducted, and 16 dental procedures performed. The primary focus of the camp was to screen for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as hypertension, diabetes, malnutrition, and anemia.
The initiative highlights the commitment of the BMO Khaltse to improve healthcare access and raise awareness about common health issues in remote areas.
