Jammu:The Gun Manufacturing Association (Regd), Jammu, and the Arms & Ammunition Dealers of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory (J&K UT) have issued a strong condemnation following the recent exposure of a racket involving forged gun licenses in Jammu. This discovery has sparked grave concerns regarding public safety and the integrity of the arms and ammunition industry in the region.

In an official statement, Sanjay Sharma, President of the Gun Manufacturing Association (Regd), Jammu, clarified that the individual implicated in the forgery scandal is not associated with any of their registered Arms & Ammunition Dealers. Sharma emphasized that such illegal activities not only endanger public safety but also harm the reputation and operations of legitimate dealers within the J&K UT.

“Our association is steadfast in its commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and ensuring that all industry operations are conducted within the bounds of the law and with full transparency,” Sharma asserted. “We urge the law enforcement agencies to take stringent action against the perpetrators of this fraudulent activity and ensure that justice is served swiftly.”
