Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, along with Union Minister of State (MoS) for the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Dr. Jitendra Singh, conducted a high-level review meeting in Srinagar, Kashmir, to discuss the progress and future plans of significant highway and tunnel projects in the region. The meeting was attended by senior officials from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), local government representatives, and key stakeholders involved in infrastructure development.

3.Srinagar-Baramulla-Uri Highway: Discussions focused on upgrading this crucial highway to improve connectivity within the Kashmir Valley and enhance cross-border trade.
4.Qazigund-Banihal Tunnel:This twin-tube tunnel project aims to improve road safety and reduce travel time on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway.
