District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Leh today hosted students and teachers of Council Model Govt.
Middle School, Gangles on 12th May 2026 as part of an educational exposure visit aimed at promoting experiential and activity-based learning among students.
During the visit, the students were taken to different academic sections of DIET Leh including the Balvatika Model Room, Bhoti Lab, and Mathematics Lab, where they were introduced to a variety of innovative teaching-learning materials and interactive educational activities.
The faculty members of DIET Leh guided the students through the learning spaces and explained the importance of modern pedagogical practices, creative classroom activities, and child-centred teaching methods. The students enthusiastically participated in the demonstrations and showed great interest in the educational models and resources displayed in the laboratories.
The accompanying teachers appreciated the efforts of DIET Leh in creating an engaging and learner-friendly educational environment. They noted that such exposure visits help students broaden their understanding and encourage curiosity, creativity, and practical learning.
The visit was conducted successfully in a cheerful and interactive atmosphere. The faculty members of DIET Leh expressed their gratitude to Council Model Govt. Middle School, Gangles for organizing the visit and encouraging students to experience innovative educational practices outside the regular classroom setting.
