Students Flagged Off for 25th Rashtra Katha Shivir in Rajkot from Dragon Hotel, Leh
Leh, December 24, 2024: Principal Secretary School Education UT Ladakh, Sh. Sanjeev Khirwar, IAS flagged off a group of 50 students, comprising 25 Students from Leh and 25 Students from Kargil, for an exposure visit outside the UT to participate in the 25th Rashtra Katha Shivir Program.
The Flagging off ceremony, was attended by Bhanu Prabha, IAS, Secretary for School and Higher Education, UT Ladakh, Tsering Paldan, JKAS, Director School Education UT Ladakh and The Chief Education Officers of Leh and Kargil Districts. They all encouraged the students to make the most of this enriching experience.
The Katha Shivir program, organized under the Rashtriya Avishkar Scheme, aims to provide Students with a unique opportunity to explore national integration.
During their 14 day Journey, the Students will engage in various activities, including Cultural exchange programs, Workshops, and visits to Historical sites.
This initiative is a testament to the government’s commitment to providing students with holistic learning experiences that foster academic excellence, Cultural awareness, and national pride.
