Block Medical Officer, Khaltse Organizes Medical Mobile Unit Camp at Hanupata Village.
๐๐ก๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฌ๐, ๐๐๐ง๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐: A successful Medical Mobile Unit (MMU) camp was organized by Dr. Shamim Ahmad, Block Medical Officer (BMO) of Khaltse, at Hanupata village on January 31, 2025. The camp provided a variety of medical services to the local community, including consultations from a medical officer, dental care, laboratory services, NCD counseling, and RBSK services.
A total of 56 patients received medical attention, including 39 General OPD patients and 17 dental patients. Additionally, 83 laboratory tests were conducted, and 32 NCD screenings were performed during the camp. The primary focus of the camp was on screening for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as hypertension, diabetes, malnutrition, and anemia, with an emphasis on early detection and intervention to improve the health of the local population.
During the camp Dr. Manisha, Medical Officer, Dr. Nilza, Dental Surgeon, Thinles Gyailson, dental Assistant, Sonam Thinlas, Laboratory Assistant, Rinchen Angchok, Pharmacist, Toldan, NCD Councillor and Yangzes, FMPHW RBSK were present.
The camp was well-received by the community, contributing to better health awareness and providing much-needed access to essential healthcare services.
