Ramban : SSP Ramban Sh. Anuj Kumar-IPS led a crucial security review meeting at the District Police Headquarters in Ramban, focusing on preparations for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2024. The meeting was attended by a range of key officials including Adl. SP Ramban, SDPO Gool, Dysp DAR, DPL Ramban, SDPO Banihal, Dysp Hqrs Ramban, SHOs from all Police Stations, and IC PPS from various Police Posts across the district.

The discussion centered on evaluating the district’s overall security readiness and addressing emerging challenges. Detailed analyses were conducted on crime statistics, with a specific focus on cases related to the NDPS Act and ULAP Act. The meeting also reviewed pending cases to expedite judicial proceedings and ensure legal efficacy.

SSP Ramban Sh. Anuj Kumar-IPS issued directives during the meeting concerning anti-militancy operations, highlighting Operations Touch, Bowl, Milan, Sazra, and Kitab. These operations are pivotal in maintaining law and order, particularly during sensitive periods like the upcoming pilgrimage.
