RS Pura and Suchetgarh were vibrant with enthusiasm today as the Ambedkar Jayanti Celebration Committee in Sector RS Pura orchestrated a grand car and bike rally in honor of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar’s 133rd birth anniversary. The rally, a fitting tribute to the iconic leader, kicked off at 10 am from Village Dablehar and culminated triumphantly at Ambedkar Chowk RS Pura.
Over 300 vehicles formed an impressive convoy, with more than 2000 individuals from diverse backgrounds participating fervently in this commemorative event. The rally’s primary objective was to pay homage to Baba Saheb and promote his enduring teachings and principles, with a particular focus on raising awareness among women in rural and border areas.
The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Dr. Preeti Bhagat, a prominent social activist, and key figures like Ram Lal Ji, Somnath Ji, Babu (Ex-Panch), Joginder Ji, Master Kala, Ruii Das, Melo Panch, Choudhary Des Raj, Ranjit Singh Goldy, and Avinash Choudhary, Chairman of the Border Welfare Organization and a distinguished social activist.
Dr. Preeti Bhagat, in her address during the rally, shared profound insights, stressing, “On this significant day, we remember Baba Saheb and strive to propagate his message. Education is the most crucial tool in life, enabling everyone to lead a better life.”
Avinash Choudhary emphasized the enduring relevance of Dr. Ambedkar’s teachings, stating, “Baba Saheb’s ideals should not be confined to a single day’s commemoration; they must guide us forever. It’s imperative for every Indian to walk on his path and uphold his principles.”
