Delhi: Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, the Congress MP from Ludhiana, delivered a stirring speech in the parliament, addressing the dire state of law and order in Punjab and the unresolved murder case of the renowned singer Sidhu Moosewala. “Sidhu Moosewala, a young man of 28, was brutally murdered in broad daylight, shot with ten bullets from automatic weapons,” Warring stated, questioning how such a high-profile killing could occur under the nose of the authorities. He condemned the fact that the murder was orchestrated by gangsters from within the confines of jail, highlighting a glaring lapse in security.

Call for Accountability and Justice:

Warring’s plea extended to the Home Minister, Amit Shah, urging him to take responsibility for ensuring justice. He underscored the emotional devastation experienced by Moosewala’s family, who lost their only son in such a horrific manner. “We do believe in rich culture of ours, and we believe Sidhu should wear marriage sahera instead of his family putting sahera on his dead body,” he quoted, his voice heavy with emotion.

He also pointed out the audacity of the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who, despite being imprisoned, openly claimed responsibility for the murder and even issued threats to other prominent figures like Salman Khan. This, Warring argued, is a stark indicator of the broken state of law enforcement in the country.
