DIG Shridhar Patil Emphasizes People-Centric Policing at Thana Divas in Ramban

Ramban :Strengthening the police-public relationship, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, DKR Range, Sh. Shridhar Patil, IPS, reiterated the commitment to “People-Centric Policing” while presiding over the Thana Divas event in Ramban. The initiative aims to foster trust, ensure transparency, and encourage community participation in policing.
Community Participation and Policing Priorities:
Addressing the gathering, Additional SP Ramban, Sh. Gourav Mahajan, JKPS, stressed that the police force is dedicated to resolving public issues, tackling crime, and fostering a secure environment. He highlighted that policing strategies must evolve based on people’s concerns, making community engagement a fundamental pillar of law enforcement.
DIG Patil expressed gratitude to the public for actively participating and sharing their concerns, stating that such interactions help the police identify key issues and realign priorities accordingly. He assured that their grievances would be addressed promptly and effectively.
