Today DIET Leh conducted One Day Training training which is the last training session before opening of the schools for 2024-25 session on “School Safety and Health & Wellness” was conducted at DIET,
Leh for the Head of the Institutions of Primary and Middle School of Leh District which was attended by 140 Head Teachers of Primary and Middle Schools of Leh district. Sonam Angchuk, Chief Education Officer Leh and Ms Deldan Angmo, Principal, DIET Leh welcomed all the participants from various zone of Leh District. The session was divided into two sessions on “Safety and Security of Children in Schools with Child Centric Disaster Risk Reduction” by Resource Person Dorjay Wangchuk and “Health and Wellness” by Dr Tashi Tundup with Question-and-Answer Session.
During 2024-25 session total no of over 1000 participants were trained in various components like Jolly Phonics, NEP 2020, National Curriculum Framework / FS with Holistic Progress Report Card; Hindi and English Training; Social Emotional Ethical Learning (SEEL); Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) and Child Safety and Health and Wellness were conducted in various batches and SEE Learning for Principals of HSS and Headmasters of High School.
