Leh, June 5, 2025:
On 5th of June 2025, observing World Environmental Day, District Legal Services Authority, Leh organized a Plantation Drive at District Court Complex, Leh.
The event was graced by Sh. Manoj Parihar, Principal District and Sessions Judge and Worthy Chairman, District Legal Services Authority Leh; Sh. Tsewang Phuntsog, Chief Judicial Magistrate Leh; Learned APP Sh. Tsering Phuntsog and Court staff as well as Para-Legal Volunteers (PLVs).
Various species of seedlings were planted within the premises of the District Court Complex, Leh, aimed to enhance the green cover and to promote eco-consciousness in the legal fraternity and citizens.
Aspart, approximately 50-60 trees saplings were also planted at Government High School, Colony and Government Middle School, Skara by District Legal Services Authority, Leh to mark the occasion of World Environmental Day.
The Plantation Drive was not only aimed at environmental conservation but also to serve as a reminder of the legal fraternity’s role in promoting sustainable and community-oriented practices.
