PM Modi Congratulates RSP Leaders On Nepal Poll Victory, Expresses Confidence In Stronger Bilateral Ties

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated leaders of Nepal’s Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) on their electoral success in the country’s parliamentary elections and expressed confidence that India-Nepal relations will scale new heights in the coming years.
In separate telephone conversations, PM Modi congratulated RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane and senior party leader Balendra Shah on their victories and the party’s strong performance in the Nepal polls. He conveyed his best wishes for the formation of the new government in Nepal and reaffirmed India’s commitment to work with the incoming leadership for the prosperity and well-being of the people of both countries.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said he had “warm telephone conversations” with the two leaders and congratulated them on RSP’s resounding success in the Nepal elections. He added that India looks forward to working closely with the new leadership in Nepal to strengthen cooperation and deepen bilateral ties.
“I am confident that with our joint endeavours, India and Nepal relations will scale new heights in the years ahead,” PM Modi added.
