Omar Abdullah Reviews JKSSB Functioning, Calls for Transparent and Timely Recruitment
Srinagar, May 22: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today conducted a high-level review of the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), emphasizing the need for removing procedural bottlenecks and ensuring time-bound recruitment across all departments.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to transparent, efficient, and accountable recruitment processes. He directed JKSSB officials to adopt a proactive approach to streamline selection procedures and avoid unnecessary delays in filling vacant posts.
“Our administration is focused on empowering the youth through fair and timely job opportunities. The JKSSB must act as a pillar of trust and credibility in the recruitment process,” said Omar Abdullah.
The review meeting covered key issues affecting the board’s operations and identified areas for reform. The Chief Minister stressed the importance of adopting modern digital tools, enhancing transparency, and maintaining the highest standards of integrity in public service recruitment.
