Addressing the PDP’s general council meeting in Srinagar on Saturday, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti reaffirmed the party’s dedication to pressing for the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s special status, statehood, and the release of political prisoners. She criticized the National Conference (NC) for its perceived inaction, noting that despite having a significant legislative presence with 50 members, the NC has maintained silence on these crucial matters. Mehbooba underlined the PDP’s unwavering stance on advocating for the rights and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
