PM Modi Signs First Files At Seva Teerth, Dedicates Complex To The Nation

In his first official decisions after shifting to the newly inaugurated Seva Teerth complex on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi signed a set of files pertaining to the welfare of farmers, women, youth, and vulnerable citizens.
The decisions, which embody the spirit of Seva, include major initiatives across healthcare, agriculture, women’s empowerment, and entrepreneurship.
The Prime Minister approved the launch of the PM RAHAT scheme, under which accident victims will receive cashless treatment of up to ₹1.5 lakh. The initiative aims to ensure that no life is lost due to the lack of immediate medical care.
In a major boost to the agriculture sector, the loan target of the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund has been increased from ₹1 lakh crore to ₹2 lakh crore, strengthening the country’s entire agriculture value chain.
Additionally, to support India’s innovation ecosystem, particularly in deep tech, early-stage ventures, advanced manufacturing, and breakthrough technologies, the Prime Minister approved the Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0 with a corpus of ₹10,000 crore.
Further, PM Modi has set an ambitious new target of 6 crore Lakhpati Didis by March 2029, doubling both the scale and the aspiration of the programme. Notably, the government had already crossed the milestone of 3 crore Lakhpati Didis more than a year ahead of the original March 2027 timeline.
Prime Minister Modi formally inaugurated Seva Teerth on Friday. The new building houses the Prime Minister’s Office, the National Security Council Secretariat, and the Cabinet Secretariat.
The Prime Minister dedicated the complex to the nation, highlighting the sacred spirit of ‘Nagrikdevo Bhava’ as its guiding principle.
In a post on X, the PM said: “With an unwavering resolve to serve the people of India and guided by the sacred spirit of Nagrikdevo Bhava, Seva Teerth is humbly dedicated to the nation.”
He added, “May Seva Teerth always stand as a radiant symbol of duty, compassion, and commitment to the principle of India First. May it inspire generations to walk the path of selfless service and tireless dedication to the welfare of all”.
