LG Manoj Sinha Reviews Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Arrangements at Nunwan Base Camp; Inaugurates Key Infrastructure
Pahalgam, June 30:
Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha today conducted an extensive review of the arrangements at Nunwan Base Camp to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025.
On the occasion, the Lt Governor inaugurated a foot overbridge constructed to facilitate the smooth movement of pilgrims, enabling efficient security checks and reducing waiting time for devotees.
He also reviewed the progress of the Disaster Management Centre and Yatri Niwas, and inspected the functioning of key services including:

Lodging and Langar facilities

Power and water supply

Sanitation and health care services

Traffic management and fire & emergency response

Deployment of security personnel
The Lt Governor emphasized the need for seamless coordination among departments to ensure a safe, comfortable, and spiritually enriching experience for all Yatris.
