Acting on a combination of technical surveillance and human intelligence, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the supervision of SDPO South Kartik Shrotriya, IPS, executed the arrest from a hideout.

Varun Kumar s/o Narayan Dass R/o Dhogri Road, Hargovind Nagar, Jalandhar a notorious history-sheeter and professional criminal, was arrested on specific information.He had been evading police since the gruesome incident on April 30, 2024.
