NEW DELHI: Senior BJP leader Jitendra Singh has been reappointed as the Union Minister of State for the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) for the third consecutive term, underscoring his significant role within the central government. Known for his steady leadership, Singh has maintained a prominent presence in the PMO, reflecting the trust placed in him by the administration.
In addition to his responsibilities in the PMO, Singh has also been reinstated as the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Ministry of Earth Sciences. This appointment marks his return to a portfolio he previously managed, having handed over the charge to Kiren Rijiju in May last year. Singh’s return to the Ministry of Earth Sciences is expected to bring continuity and stability to the department, given his prior experience and expertise.
