3. Tushar Kumar (22 years) – S/o Late Sewa Ram, R/o Lower Canal, Bishnah

During interrogation, the accused confessed that they drew inspiration from a similar robbery in Delhi’s Samaypur Badli area in 2023.

Their modus operandi included:

Meticulous pre-planning and survey of the jewelry shop

Targeting a lone shop owner to avoid resistance

Using a deadly weapon to intimidate the victim

Executing the crime in minutes and fleeing before police arrival

Despite their careful planning, they underestimated the efficiency of Jammu Police, who quickly pieced together their movements, identified them, and apprehended them before they could dispose of the stolen gold.
