First Batch of Haj Pilgrims from J&K Flagged Off from Srinagar International Airport
Srinagar, May 5:
The first batch of Haj pilgrims from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir was ceremoniously flagged off today from the Srinagar International Airport. In a gesture filled with warmth and spirituality, heartfelt greetings and best wishes were extended to the pilgrims embarking on the sacred journey.
Calling the Haj a “divine pilgrimage” and “a cherished, life-long dream,” the official overseeing the send-off expressed hopes for a safe, spiritually fulfilling experience for the pilgrims. “I pray for the peace and prosperity of Jammu & Kashmir and the well-being of one and all,” the official remarked.
Reaffirming the commitment of the Central Government, it was emphasized that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of the pilgrims throughout their sacred journey.
The occasion marks a significant spiritual milestone for many, as Haj is not just a religious duty but a deeply personal aspiration for countless Muslims across the region.
