The student council elections concluded on August 6, 2024, with enthusiastic participation from all eleven candidates. Stanzin Rigdol, a 5th-semester student, was elected President with a margin of 210 votes. For the post of Vice President, Tashi Nurboo from the 3rd semester emerged victorious by 8 votes. Saraswati Roka, also from the 3rd semester, was nominated as the 2nd Vice President.
Sonam Angmo, a 5th-semester student, secured the position of General Secretary with a margin of 53 votes. Stanzin Chosgyal, another 5th-semester student, was elected as the cashier with a margin of 279 votes.
The winning certificates were distributed by AP Sabah Sharif, the Returning Officer of the Student Council Elections.
