A drone was recently recovered in the Tanda area, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Akhnoor Police Station. Speaking with SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Sharma, it was confirmed that the drone was found in tanda area of Akhnoor and locals have promptly reported about the suspicious object lying in the area.SDPO Akhnoor immediately swung into the action and reached on the spot along with cyber intelligence experts, it was determined that the drone contained no chip-like material inside.

The drone is believed to be of commercial origin, typically used by photographers at wedding functions. The origin of the drone is now part of an ongoing investigation. The police have seized the drone, and an inquiry has been initiated to trace its source.

Senior police officials have commended the local residents for their vigilance and the swift response by the Akhnoor police. This incident highlights the effectiveness of the ongoing awareness programs conducted by the local police.
