DPC Meeting Chaired by DC Leh Approves 39 Promotions Across Government Departments
Leh, May 22, 2025: In a significant step towards strengthening human resource management, Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, chaired a Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting today at the VC Room, DC Office, Leh. The meeting resulted in the approval of 20 time-bound promotions, 19 functional promotions, and 1 compassionate appointment across various departments in Leh.
The approved promotions are as follows:

Education Department: 11 functional promotions, 4 time-bound promotions

Medical Department: 7 time-bound promotions

District Motor Garage: 6 functional promotions

Power Development Department (PDD): 1 functional, 4 time-bound promotions

Mechanical Department: 3 time-bound promotions

Sheep Husbandry Department: 1 compassionate appointment

Information & Public Relations Department: 1 functional, 1 time-bound promotion

Revenue Department: 1 time-bound promotion
DC Santosh Sukhadeve emphasized the importance of timely promotions in ensuring efficiency and motivation among government employees. He directed all Heads of Departments (HoDs) to regularly submit promotion proposals to maintain optimal staffing and productivity in public service delivery.
The meeting was attended by the Headquarter Assistant and heads of all relevant departments.
