Jammu: In preparation for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra 2024, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, visited Lakhanpur, the main entry point to Jammu and Kashmir, to review the arrangements. This visit follows an earlier inspection at Yatri Niwas in Jammu, marking the administration’s commitment to ensuring seamless and secure arrangements for the pilgrimage.

During the visit, Div Com Ramesh Kumar was accompanied by SSP Traffic Rural Vinay Khullar ,Additional SP Kathua Paramjeet Singh, Project Director NHAI and the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Kathua Rakesh Minhas IAS . They collectively inspected the various facilities and measures put in place to handle the anticipated large number of pilgrims.
