Debate Competition on Human Rights Violations and Organized Crime Held at Zonal Police Headquarters, Jammu

A Range Level Debate Competition for officers and officials from different Ranges and Districts of the Jammu Zone was held today at the Conference Hall, District Police Lines (DPL) Jammu. The competition, organized under the supervision of Anand Jain, IPS, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Jammu Zone, was chaired by Shiv Kumar Sharma, IPS, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range.
The topic for the debate, “Human Rights Violations Cannot Control Crimes by Organized Criminal Syndicates, Including Terrorist Outfits, Human Trafficking Gangs, and Narcotics Smugglers,” drew insightful and thought-provoking arguments from participants.

Participants were judged across two categories—for and against the motion.The competition concluded with the following results:

At the conclusion of the event,DIG Shiv Kumar Sharma and SSP Joginder Singh extended their appreciation to all the participants for their spirited performances and congratulated the winners for their achievements.
