DODA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Harvinder Singh on Thursday conducted a thorough inspection visit to Tehsil Gundna (Doda), encompassing various key establishments and facilities in the region.

The visit included inspections at Government Higher Secondary School, Government High School, Tehsil Office Gundna, PHC Gundna, as well as assessment of road infrastructure, power supply, and PHE facilities.

CEO, BMO, PWD (R&B), PHE, PDD, Tehsildar, BDO and other officers, civil society members were present.

The DC interacted with students and teachers at Government Higher Secondary School and Government High School and reviewed classroom facilities and overall infrastructure. The visit aimed to assess the quality of education and facilities provided to the students in these educational institutions.

At Tehsil Office Gundna, the DC reviewed administrative operations and engaged with officials to assess the functioning of public services at the grassroots level. The inspection at PHC Gundna involved an evaluation of healthcare services, including interactions with doctors and patients, as well as an assessment of the PHC building’s condition.

Additionally, thorough checks were conducted on road conditions, power supply systems, and PHE infrastructure to address any maintenance or improvement needs.

The comprehensive inspection visit undertaken by DC Doda underscores the administration’s commitment to ensuring the efficient delivery of essential services and maintaining high standards across various sectors in Tehsil Gundna (Doda).

The DC also inspected the construction of the BDC office building in Tehsil Gundna, which is nearing completion. The office building, which will serve as a hub for local governance functions, is expected to be fully operational in the near future.

The upcoming completion of the BDC office building is a significant milestone in enhancing local governance and promoting efficient service delivery in Tehsil Gundna.
