Kupwara: In a powerful demonstration of unity and defiance, BJP leaders and local residents of Kupwara came together to raise slogans against Pakistan. The protest was organized in response to the recent killing of innocent civilians in Jammu and Kashmir by militants allegedly supported by Pakistan.

The demonstrators gathered in large numbers, holding placards and banners condemning Pakistan for its role in fostering terrorism in the region. Chants of “Pakistan Murdabad” (Down with Pakistan) and “Stop Terrorism” echoed through the streets, reflecting the deep-seated anger and frustration of the people.

BJP leaders addressed the crowd, emphasizing the need for a strong and decisive response to cross-border terrorism. They called on the Indian government to take stern action against Pakistan for its continued support of militant groups operating in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Pakistan’s support for terrorism is a blatant violation of international norms and human rights,” a senior BJP leader said. “We demand that the international community hold Pakistan accountable for its actions and impose strict sanctions to curb its support for terrorist activities.”

Local residents, including families of the victims , joined the protest, expressing their grief and outrage over the loss of innocent lives. Many held photographs of their loved ones, demanding justice and an end to the violence.

“We have suffered enough,” one protestor said. “Our children, our families, deserve to live in peace. Pakistan must stop sending terrorists to our land.”

The protest in Kupwara is part of a broader wave of demonstrations across Jammu and Kashmir, as communities come together to stand against terrorism and demand security and stability. The involvement of BJP leaders has given a political dimension to the protests, highlighting the urgent need for effective measures to combat terrorism.
