In a resolute move to eradicate the drug menace, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu, Anand Jain, today issued strict directives to police officers in Samba District.

The focus: identify the sources, carriers, and destinations of drugs, and implement a zero-tolerance policy.

The directives were delivered during a comprehensive review meeting on law and order, security, and crime in the district. ADGP Jain chaired this pivotal meeting, which was attended by SSP Samba Vinay Sharma, Additional SP Surinder Choudhary,Dysp HQ Samba and all Station House Officers (SHOs), of samba disrtict and other police personnel. His agenda was clear and uncompromising: intensify the fight against drug-related crimes, target gangsters, and address crimes against property and persons with unwavering rigor.

“Focus on NDPS cases, specifically pinpointing the source, carrier, and destination of drugs,” ADGP Jain instructed, emphasizing a strategic approach to dismantling drug networks.
