Jammu: In a highly anticipated visit, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is set to join the BJP’s intensive election campaign in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, marking a critical push ahead of the upcoming three-phase Assembly polls. Singh’s arrival comes just a day after Union Home Minister Amit Shah concluded his influential two-day visit to the Union Territory, where he reaffirmed the central government’s commitment to peace and progress while taking a strong stance against terrorism.

Sources reveal that Rajnath Singh is slated to address two major rallies on Sunday. His first stop will be at Ramban, where he is expected to speak at 12:30 p.m., followed by another rally at Banihal at 2:00 p.m. These rallies are part of the BJP’s strategic plan to consolidate its position in the region ahead of the elections, which are set to begin on September 18.
