DG BSF Visits PHQ, Discusses Border Security and Counter-Infiltration Measures with J&K DGP

Srinagar : Director General of Border Security Force (BSF), Shri Daljit Singh Chaudhary, accompanied by BSF Kashmir Inspector General Shri Ashok Yadav, paid a visit to the Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters (PHQ) in Srinagar. The high-level meeting saw discussions between the DG BSF and the Director General of Police (DGP) J&K, Shri R.R. Swain, along with senior police officials, including Special DG J&K Police and DGP-designate Shri Nalin Prabhat, ADGP (Headquarters) Shri M.K. Sinha, and ADGP Law & Order Shri Vijay Kumar.
The meeting primarily focused on the prevailing security situation both along the borders and in the hinterland. A key point of discussion was the ongoing counter-infiltration measures and the crucial role of coordinated intelligence sharing between the BSF and J&K Police to bolster security efforts. Both agencies reaffirmed the importance of collaboration to ensure the safety of the region’s civilian population, especially in light of continued infiltration threats.
