𝐋𝐞𝐡, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒:As a part of the International Youth Day 2024 Government Degree College Khaltse in collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society organised AIDS awareness rally on August 28.

The event began at the college campus, proceeded through the main market of Khaltse to raise public awareness about AIDS.

The rally witnessed participation from both students and faculty, who raised various slogans to educate the general public about the importance of AIDS awareness and prevention.

Following the rally, the college hosted a poster making competition on the same theme.

Students from various semesters took part with great enthusiasm, creating impactful and informative posters.

The college provided all necessary materials for the competition, which was organised by Red Ribbon Club of the college.

Certificates were distributed to all the participants and prizes were awarded to those students secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively. Sonam Yangdol, Mepham Dolker and Stanzin Chorol of 3rd semester secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

Director of Physical Education and Sports, Sonam Chosphail extended his heartfelt gratitude to all participants. He also expressed sincere thanks to Professor Stanzin Yangdol, the principal of the college, for her support in ensuring the event’s success.
