In a continuous drive against sale of illicit liquor in UT Ladakh, the enforcement team of excise department UT Ladakh conducted a search operation in and around Old Bus Stand Leh.
During the course of search , one person was booked under section 48a of the J & K Excise Act , 1958 and recovered 7 bottles of IMFL which were meant for sale in UT of Chandigarh and State of Himachal Pradesh. Further investigation under Jammu & Kashmir Excise Act 1958 is going on.
