J&K Government Dismisses Six Employees for Anti-National Activities

SRINAGAR: In a significant move to bolster state security, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has dismissed six employees from various departments under Article 311 of the Constitution of India, citing their involvement in anti-national activities.
Detailed Allegations Against Dismissed Employees:
Saif Din
Position: Selection Grade Constable, Police Department
Residence: Shigani Bhallesa, District Doda (Currently in Javid Nagar, Bali Charana Naki Tawi, Jammu)
Charges: Saif Din, identified as a notorious drug peddler and habitual offender, was involved in narco-terror funding. He facilitated the smuggling of weapons, narcotics, and terrorist infiltration into J&K, deeply intertwined with the Hizbul Mujahideen.
Farooq Ahmad Sheikh
Position: Head Constable, Police Department
Residence: Ibkoote Tangdar, District Kupwara
Charges: Sheikh, along with Khalid Hussian Shah and Rahmat Shah, received large narcotics consignments from Pakistan-occupied J&K. He maintained contacts with Pakistan-based terrorists involved in smuggling narcotics, weapons, and money across the LoC.
Khalid Hussian Shah
Position: Selection Grade Constable, Police Department
Residence: Chanipora Payeen Tangdar, District Kupwara
Charges: Shah used his knowledge of local terrain to facilitate narcotics smuggling from PoJK, running a drug cartel in the Kupwara-Karnah region and supporting the narco-terror network.
Rahmat Shah
Position: Constable, Police Department
Residence: Panjowa Pingla Haridal, Karnah, District Kupwara
Charges: Rahmat Shah peddled narcotics from PoJK, fueling unrest and financing terrorism. He was linked with Pakistan-based terrorist groups and extended his operations across India.
Irshad Ahmad Chalkoo
Position: Selection Grade Constable, Police Department
Residence: Silikote Uri, District Baramulla
Charges: Chalkoo was closely associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba, using encrypted messaging to coordinate with Kashmiri-origin terrorists in PoJK. He facilitated arms and ammunition transfer and aided terrorist infiltration.
Nazam Din
Position: Teacher, Education Department
Residence: Kirni Haveli, District Poonch
Charges: A committed drug peddler and Over Ground Worker for Hizbul Mujahideen, Nazam Din smuggled drugs from Pakistan to finance terrorism. His activities extended to Punjab and other parts of India.
