Jammu: In a gesture of profound respect and commitment, SSP Jammu Dr. Vinod Kumar-IPS convened a significant meeting at the District Police Lines (DPL) Jammu. The purpose of this gathering was to review welfare measures and address grievances of retired police officers, underscoring the department’s unwavering support for its former members.
The meeting saw the active participation of the representatives from the Police Pensioners Welfare Forum and the Retired Officers Association. They voiced several pending issues affecting retired personnel, ranging from pension discrepancies to healthcare benefits and social security concerns. These issues, presented with earnestness and urgency, received a patient and attentive hearing from Dr. Kumar.

There is great respect for them in the Police organization as they have rendered long service and toiled hard to earn a name for the organization,” he stated, reiterating the department’s commitment to maintaining strong ties with its former members.

Do not feel isolated; you are still part of the Police organization and can approach any Police officer or Police unit at any time.”
