First Civil Military Liaison Conference Held in Nubra District

Nubra, 4 September 2026: The first Civil Military Liaison Conference of Nubra District was held today under the chairmanship of Sh. Mukul Beniwal IAS , Deputy Commissioner, Nubra, to strengthen coordination and cooperation among the Civil Administration, Police and Army on matters of security, communication, disaster management and public welfare.

SSP Nubra sh. Stanzin Losal, JKPS, briefed the participants on key areas including border security and surveillance, civil military communication, traffic and convoy management, timely sharing of information on road closures and restrictions, tourism, disaster response, communication and connectivity, drug trafficking and other security concerns.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed greater coordination among the Civil Administration, Police and Army in initiatives including Nasha Mukt Bharat, Swachh Bharat Mission, Bulk Waste Generator management and TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan. He appreciated the coordination extended so far and called for continued cooperation and timely communication in the future.

During the meeting, The District Administration was appreciated for its prompt intervention in addressing land related issues. The meeting concluded with a commitment to sustain and further strengthen coordination and cooperation among all stakeholders.

The meeting was attended by senior officers and representatives from the Army, Air Force, Police, Civil Administration, ITBF ,SB Disket, Ex servicemen and other concerned officers and officials.
