MLA Thanamandi Alleges Discrimination in Fund Allocation, Warns of Hunger Strike

Jammu: Thanamandi MLA has openly expressed displeasure with the state government, claiming that despite supporting the administration, he was treated unfairly in the allocation of development funds.
Addressing the issue, the MLA alleged that while the Deputy Chief Minister was allocated ₹50 crore, he received only ₹5 crore. He termed the distribution discriminatory and said the injustice was not limited to him alone but also affected Budhal MLA Javed.
The MLA stated that such unequal treatment has deeply hurt public representatives who have consistently stood with the government. He warned that if the concerns of the people continue to be ignored, he is prepared to launch a hunger strike in support of public rights and development demands.
He further asserted that the government would eventually have to answer before the people and emphasized that he would no longer remain silent over what he described as injustice and neglect.
The remarks are being seen as a strong message to the Chief Minister, highlighting growing dissatisfaction within sections of the ruling alliance over fund distribution and regional development issues.
