Ricky Martin To Perform At T20 World Cup Closing Ceremony Ahead Of India-New Zealand Final
International pop star Ricky Martin will perform at the closing ceremony of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup ahead of the final between India and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
Martin is set to deliver a specially curated live performance beginning at 5:30 pm IST. Known for his powerful vocals, energetic stage presence and globally popular Latin pop songs, the singer is expected to add a musical spectacle to the pre-match build-up.

We are thrilled to announce Global Icon and Superstar Ricky Martin as the headliner for the Closing Ceremony before the Final at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. This is one celebration you don’t want to miss! Gates Open: 3.30 pm Performances Begin: 5:30 pm,” the ICC said in a post on X.
Following the ceremony, attention will shift to the final between defending champions India and New Zealand, which will begin at 7 pm.
India enter the contest after defeating England by seven runs in the semi-final at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday. It is their fourth appearance in a T20 World Cup final — the most by any team in the tournament’s history.
New Zealand, meanwhile, secured their place in the final with a dominant nine-wicket win over South Africa at Eden Gardens on Wednesday.
