IT Dept UT Ladakh organises two-day capacity building programme on Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Public Procurement (RFP, DPR & EoI)

Leh, April 22, 2025: Two-day capacity building programme and interaction session on Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and (ML), and Public Procurement (RFP, DPR & EoI) spearheaded by the IT Department Leh, commenced at the DC Conference Hall, Leh Ladakh on April 22, 2025.

The programme aimed at enhancing digital acumen among administrative officials. The event featured impactful sessions by Mr. Prakash Pimpale, AI Director/Scientist E at C-DAC Mumbai, and Mr. Prashant More, Staff Scientist at C-DAC Mumbai.

Mr. Pimpale highlighted AI’s transformative potential and its real-world applications, while Mr. More offered deep insights into AI (artificial intelligence), ML (machine learning), and (DL)Deep Learning, unravelling their practical use in governance and beyond.

Active participation from JKAS officers and other officials made the programme highly interactive and insightful. The initiative underscores IT Department Leh’s commitment to driving innovation and digital transformation across the region.
