Jammu : In a bid to curb the growing drug problem, Jammu Police has launched “Operation Clean” in Rajeev Nagar, an area notorious for illegal activities. The operation, conducted under the jurisdiction of Police Station Bahu Fort, is part of the broader anti-drug campaign aimed at dismantling drug networks and restoring safety in the region.
High-Level Coordination and Tactical Execution:
The crackdown was carried out under the direct supervision of SSP Jammu, with a specialized team led by SP South and SDPO City East, supported by SHO Bahu Fort, SHO Bagh-e-Bahu, and ICPP Narwal. Law enforcement officers conducted extensive house-to-house searches, particularly targeting residences of suspected drug peddlers.
As a result of the operation, twelve individuals found in suspicious circumstances were picked up for questioning. These individuals were subsequently bound down by the Executive Magistrate First Class (EMIC) as part of the legal process to curb their activities.
